Family: Caprifoliaceae

Common Name: Twin Flower

Latin Name: Linnaea borealis

Same as second next specimen, but before flowering stage. This plant is very long, and it took quite some time to find its end. I had to cut it to fit in the press. The two protruding roots at the end were just beginning to push their way into the ground.

Family: Borage

Common Name: Starflower

Latin Name: Trientalis Borealis

Identification is for top plant. Bottom plant was extremely long ( 5 feet?), and I only cut the end. Towards the root there were far more leaves. It would grow overtop of other low growing plants for light, but would not wrap around them.
